If you read my introduction post, you know that I am a country girl, so when the Wood Words and Heartland Stamp Sets came out, I was ecstatic!
Here is my card using both of the sets:
This card was started with an Early Espresso card base. Layered on top of the base is a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and on top of Very Vanilla is a piece of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack. First, the piece of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack should be adhered to the Very Vanilla cardstock. Then, make a knot in a piece of Burlap Ribbon and wrap around while adhering it. After the ribbon has been adhered, using SNAIL Adhesive, adhere it all to the card base.
From the Heartland stamp set, I used the barn stamp on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Behind the Very Vanilla cardstock, I layered a piece of Early Espresso and a piece of Cherry Cobbler.
Then, from the Wood Words stamp set, I used the rooster stamp on a piece of Very Vanilla and cut it out using the smallest circle from the Stitched Shapes framelits. For the Cherry Cobbler circle behind it, I used the 1-1/2″ Circle punch.
For the sentiment, I stamped the “Hello Friend” from the Wood Words stamp set on a 1/2″ piece of Very Vanilla and to make the banner end, I used the Banner Triple punch. Behind the Very Vanilla piece, I made a Cherry Cobbler background.
I adhered all the background behind the appropriate pictures using SNAIL Adhesive. Then, I adhered all the pieces to the card base using Dimensionals. That’s it!
